OUR CHARGE
TOTAL FOB COST = CAR COST + AP's FEE
OVER BIDDING
Due to Internet Time-lags, please allow for occasional small "OVER-BIDS" so we do not lose a car for a just a little extra yen.
BIDDING
Autoportal can accept bids in JPY or NZD. If you are interested in bidding in NZD landed in New Zealand (includes all costs and delivered to your compliance centre) please contact us directly so we can enable this facility.
SHIPPING
All vehicles will be shipped with Autohub’s Door to Door package. After the successful purchase of a vehicle a “sales contract” will be sent . No vehicles will be shipped or booked until we receive a signed copy of the “sales contract”.
PAYMEN TERMS
Full payment is required before the ETD date. Failure to pay all charges before the ETD, will result in delivery delays as the vehicles will be placed into storage. These storage costs will accumulate a daily charge for which you will be liable.
OWNERSHIP
Ownership, title and possession of the vehicles purchased shall remain with AUTO PORTAL until the full payment has been received.
CLAIMS
Claims will be assessed on a case by case scenario. Limits of liability are outlined in the ‘claims’ section of this page.

CONDITION
Basically FOB / JPY, USD, EURO.
We will charge ocean freight, insurance, pre-shipping inspection, etc. separately (depend on the country)
OUR CHARGE
TOTAL FOB COST = CAR COST + AP's FEE
TOTAL CIF(C&F) COST = CAR COST + AP's FEE + EXTRA COST
EXTRA COST
Following cost will be charged (depend on your country/condition of the shipping).
* OCEAN FREIGHT
* INSURANCE
* PRE-SHIPMENT INSPECTION (BY JAAI)
* HANDLING CHARGE (UNMOVED VEHICLE)
* THC (TERMINAL HANDLING CHARGE)
* VANNING CHARGE
* PORT CHARGE etc

PAYMEN TERMS
Full payment is required within 7 days of INVOICE DATE. Failure to pay all charges before the due date will result in the cancellation of your vehicle(s).
SHIPPING
Unless specified, vehicles will be shipped on Roll on Roll of vessels (RORO).
We will arrange shipping as soon payment has been confirmed.
OWNERSHIP
Ownership, title and possession of the vehicles purchased shall remain with AUTO PORTAL until full payment has been received.
CLAIMS
We cannot accept any claims that auction sheet mentioned.
LIMITS OF LIABILITY OF AUTO PORTAL Co., LTD
SUBMISSIBLE CLAIM
YOU MUST:
* CONTACT AUTO PORTAL WITHIN 2 WEEKS FROM ETA (A CLAIM FORM WILL BE SENT)
* FILL IN THE CLAIM FORM AND SUBMIT TO AUTOPORTAL
* SUBMIT 2 QUOTATIONS, AND PHOTOGRAPHS WITH CLAIM
* NOT COMMENCE REPAIRS WITHOUT AUTO PORTAL'S CONSENT
WE CAN NOT ACCEPT
CLAIMS RELATING TO:
* ANYTHING THAT AUCTION SHEET MENTIONED
* STOLEN PARTS OR INCLUSIONS AFTER VEHICLE LEAVE AUTO PORTAL'S YARD
* VEHICLES INSPECTED AND CONFIRMED BY YOU IN JAPAN
* SUCCESSIVE CLAIMS FOR A VEHICLE AT SOME LATER DATE
* MINOR INTERIOR / EXTERIOR DAMAGE
* COSTS NOT DIRECTLY RELATING TO CLAIM (E.g. Reconditioning or Servicing)
* ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH "NO TDN NUMBER" ON DEREGISTRATION CERT
* MANUFACTURED YEAR DIFFERENT FROM REGISTRATION YEAR ON DEREG
* ANY ITEMS NOTIFIED TO YOU AT TIME OF PURCHASE
* VEHICLES WHICH AUTO PORTAL OFFERS AS A "NO CLAIM CAR"
* OVER 100,000KM / NO CLAIM
* AUCTION GRADE 3.5 AND BELOW / NO CLAIM
* ANY MECHANICAL TROUBLE
VEHICLES OFFERD AS A "NO CLAIM" MEANS NO CLAIM WHATSOEVER.
WE CANNOT ACCEPT ANY CLAIMS FOR THE VEHICLES WHICH COST IS UNDER JPY 200,000 CARCOST.
CLAIM WILL ONLY BE REVIEWD AFTER THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN PAID IN FULL.
AUTO PORTAL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MAKE FINAL DECISION ON ANY CLAIM.
AGREEMENT OF APHP USE OF AUTO PORTAL Co., LTD
Fundamental
This agreement describes that Auto Portal Co Ltd supplies information and manages that ID and password to foreign importer.
Pre registration
A foreign importer has to have pre registration by following our procedure. We will inform the importer of the ID and password after completion then we can provide information.
Purpose of use
ID and password MUST be used for searching and bidding used cars only.
Responsibility of ID and password use
ID and password use is limited to the user only. The user is prohibited from transferring or lending his or her ID and password to others. The user WILL be responsible for any misuse of the ID and password . Auto Portal Co., Ltd is not responsible for any losses incurred by the user.
Deregistration
Auto Portal Co., Ltd can deregister any user at any time without notice should the user violates this agreement or when we judge that use is inappropriate. The user can terminate this contract by informing Auto Portal Co Ltd, on receipt in writing or email.
Base law
This agreement is based upon Japanese law and will be considered a binding contract by both parties in the case of any dispute and will be acknowledged as an internationally accepted agreement by the signatories to this agreement
Others
Any other considerations that are not written in this agreement are to be decided by conference attended involving the user and Auto Portal Co Ltd.
